The hotel has a nice view of downtown Waikiki and the mountains, and the rooftop pool offers a great spot to unwind with evening hors d'oeuvres. The room I stayed in was spacious and comfortable, but the setup was a bit odd with three double beds pushed against one wall, which we jokingly called the Moe, Larry, and Curly room. Overall, the stay was enjoyable, but I was surprised to find an extra charge on my bill that wasn’t detailed in my checkout invoice.

I had a lovely stay at this hotel, enjoying the beautiful view from my newly renovated room and the friendly staff who were always ready to assist. The location was great, allowing easy access to various activities in the area. However, the lack of a microwave made things a bit challenging, especially with small kids, and the dining options were pricey for what they offered.

Rooms

The newly renovated room was fantastic with a great view, though the absence of a microwave made things less convenient for my family.
Service

The staff were all very helpful and friendly, providing clear directions to the right tower, but the overall service felt a bit lacking given the price.
Location

The location was wonderful, conveniently central with plenty to explore in the area, particularly nice in the mornings before it got crowded.
Dining
5.0
I found the dining options to be quite expensive for what you got; $50 for an omelette was a bit much, although there were better alternatives nearby.
Facilities
7.0
The amenities at the hotel were good, but not outstanding, with decent pool areas but nothing that wowed me.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel with its perfect beachfront location in Honolulu. The rooms were simply excellent, spacious, and had two balconies that offered amazing views. The staff was generally friendly and professional, although some of them seemed more focused on selling timeshares. The dining options were quite pricey, and the breakfast could be better. Overall, it was a great experience, but I was a bit disappointed by the high dining costs and some service hiccups.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The location is absolutely fantastic, just a short walk from the beach, and the rooms in the Diamond Head tower were spacious and clean. However, I found the service to be a bit lacking, especially when compared to previous visits. Dining options were also not as vibrant as I had hoped. Overall, I enjoyed my stay but felt that there were areas that could use improvement.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The location was fantastic with great access to the beach and a quieter vibe, perfect for families. However, the rooms felt quite dated and in need of a refresh. The service was friendly, but there were times when it felt a little lacking. Dining options were limited and not very satisfying, which was a downside, especially considering the price.

Rooms

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. On the plus side, it was located close to the beach and the staff was very friendly. However, the room I had was a bit peculiar and not ideally laid out, which was concerning. Also, the dining options left a lot to be desired. Overall, I appreciated the proximity to activities, but the room could use some improvements.

Rooms

The room had a strange layout and the door frame was literally held together by masking tape. It felt a bit unsettling, especially being on the 13th floor.
Service

The staff I interacted with were friendly and accommodating, but unfortunately, some requests went unanswered.
Location

8.6/10

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The location is fantastic, with plenty of stores and access to a beautiful beach. The rooms were clean and bright, but our check-in was a bit chaotic, and it was frustrating that they weren't ready when we arrived. The service was friendly and attentive, but the coffee options were limited. Overall, it has great potential but could use some improvements in organization and dining options.

7.4/10

My stay had its ups and downs. The location was fantastic, right on the beachfront, which made for easy access to the beach. The staff was incredibly friendly and supportive throughout my stay. On the downside, my room wasn't ready until late, which was a major inconvenience after traveling. Plus, the room itself was dated and not what I had reserved, which was disappointing.

Rooms
5.0
The room was spacious and comfortable enough, but it had a dated look with poor lighting and a shower curtain over a combined bath/shower. Unfortunately, it wasn't ready until 7 pm, four hours after check-in, which was really unacceptable.
Service
9.0
The service was superb! The staff was very friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with a smile.
Location
10.0
Being right on the beachfront was amazing, and the location made it easy to explore Waikiki without needing to drive.
Dining
7.0
The dining options were good but a bit pricey. Having drinks around sunset was a highlight, but the restaurant didn't open until 8 am, which was inconvenient for early risers.
Facilities
6.0
The overall facilities were nice, particularly the pool area, but I expected a bit more modernity considering the price point.

8.0/10

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel, enjoying the warm and welcoming service and the spacious rooms with great views. The location was lovely and right on the beach, but navigating around could be a bit tricky. While the dining options were decent, they missed the mark on flavor, so that was a slight letdown. Overall, it’s a comfortable spot, but improvements in dining and room cleanliness could make it even better.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were spacious and had a great view of the beach and the Rainbow Tower, though they could've been cleaned a little better.
Service
8.0
The service was warm and attentive, with friendly staff always ready to help us. However, there were moments when they pushed us to sign up for their Hilton Honours program.
Location
8.0
The hotel is right on the beach with good shops on-site, but it was kind of difficult to navigate the surrounding area.
Dining
5.0
I found the dining experience to be more like college dorm food, lacking in flavor despite having a variety of dishes. It could really use a revamp.
Facilities
7.0
While the hotel had some nice facilities, a little more attention to cleanliness would be appreciated.

7.0/10

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. On one hand, it's located right next to the ocean, which is a huge plus. The rooms are spacious, but unfortunately, they faced the Hale Koa Hotel, and I found the noise from delivery vehicles and music a bit bothersome. The dining options were quite pricey for what they offered, especially the breakfast. Overall, it's a nice place, but I think the noise and high dining costs could be improved.

Rooms
6.0
The room I booked was spacious but had old Holiday Inn furniture. It faced the Hale Koa Hotel, and the noise from their delivery vehicles was noticeable early in the mornings.
Service
8.0
The service was quite good, and the staff was apologetic when a charge was incorrectly added to my bill. They handled it quickly.
Location
9.0
The hotel is in a great location, right next to the ocean beaches, but it can be a long trek to get to the rooms from the main areas.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were delicious with a great view, but I found the breakfast prices outrageously expensive for a basic meal.
Facilities
7.0
The amenities available at the hotel were good, but I didn't get to enjoy them as much because of the noise.
